TGs and VGs - Better Late Than Never!

October 20, 2017

This is an OLD EPISODE recorded MONTHS AGO that was never uploaded because Austin is an idiot (and he apologizes)

In this episode of Two Guys and Video Games, Ryan and Jon reconvene to talk about their personal favorite video games so you can mercilessly judge them.

Please enjoy!

Ryan will be participating in the Extra Life charity event this year! He would love it if you donated some money to help fight childhood cancer. You can find his Extra Life page here:

Borderline Interviews Paul St. Peter [Voice of XEMNAS, KURAMA, and WHAMMU]

July 31, 2017

"Betty, do you know who you truly are?"

Austin, Andrew, and Ryan had the extreme pleasure of being able to bring on a VERY special guest for this episode of the podcast; veteran voice actor Paul St. Peter! We sat down with Paul to chat about Kingdom Hearts, Naruto, voice acting, his various other roles, the voice acting industry, and other topics.

[Note: I edited the interview slightly for content and clarity because we were interrupted a few times, but the edit should be seamless. If it isn't in some instances, that's why haha]

For anyone who submitted questions on Facebook, make sure to listen to hear if we asked him yours! Thanks so much to everyone who submitted! Special shout out to Paul St. Peter for coming on the show and to Asheville Anime Regional Convention for hosting us and making this whole thing possible!

Keep up with Paul and AARC here!

Anime Movie Night Returns! - First Impressions of “The Ancient Magus’ Bride” and “Children of Ether”

July 27, 2017

ATTENTION: If you'd like to submit questions for our interview with voice actor Paul St. Peter, send us a message/comment on facebook or twitter by Friday, July 28th for consideration!

Tori and Austin check out Crunchyroll's latest Anime Movie Night where they previewed their original production Children of Ether and showed the first 3 episodes of this fall's highly anticipated anime adaptation of The Ancient Magus' Bride.

Check out our first impressions in this episode! Disclaimer: neither of us have read much of the manga, so this is a very cold reaction. Maybe better that way, yeah?

Enjoy the show!

Both shows will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll soon. The Ancient Magus' Bride is also being printed in the US by Seven Seas Entertainment.

Enjoy the show!

“Vampire Hunter D vs. Count Earnest Borgnine” - A Discussion and Review of Vampire Hunter D (1985)

July 17, 2017

Sully returns after many weeks to sit down with Austin and chat about the 1985 film, Vampire Hunter D! Directed by Toyoo Ashida, based on the light novel series by Hideyuki Kikuchi! The film is available on bluray from Sentai filmworks.

Other topics discussed: Kingdom Hearts III D23 announcements, FLCL season 2 + 3, Netflix's Castlevania, Little Witch Academia, Urusei Yatsura, Hammer horror, and more!

In this spirit of vampires and vampire movies, this episode is dedicated to Martin Landau, who passed away shortly after this episode was recorded. Landau earned an oscar for his role as Bela Lugosi in 1994's Ed Wood. Rest in peace.
